Pete's Pub & Gallery

From Treasure Cay we drove to Little Harbour the home of Pete’s Pub and Gallery. The roads are interesting...winding thru the island. Pete's Pub has long been known as a hotspot.....it was a little quite today......many t shirts hanging all around with signatures of honeymooners, famous people or just vacationers hang from the ceiling and walls.

The art gallery next door is just my dream house....just the rugged style....and lots of wonderful paintings and bronze figurines inside for the collector.

Pete's Pub has that look...someone started putting together remnants as they washed ashore .....the perfect place to gather and have a drink was created.....in the sand and water all around.

Again.....a great day!

Treasure Cay

Waiting for the props to be returned, we rented a car and drove to Treasure Cay. Advertised as one of the top 10 beaches in the world it lived up to the reputation.

I could have spent the night on this beach.....honestly just the most breathtaking water and views.....a camera just cannot do it justice.

Marsh Harbour

We had a great dinner ath the Green Turtle Club Saturday night before leaving Green Trutle for Marsh Harbour. We got up and went to Easter sunrise service in Green Turtle. We were eaten alive with "no see'ems." We arrived in Marsh Harbour Easter Sunday about noon. Great ride through the "Whale!" Whale Cay goes out into the Atlantic and can be a very rough inlet if conditions are not good.
Sunday afternoon took the ferry to Nippers at Great Guana Cay.

Today, Easter Monday, is a national holiday so almost everything is closed. Will probably be in Marsh Harbour most of the week. Will try to get some prop work done. You can't get too many sunsets. Marsh Harbour from the stern of our boat.

Good Friday in Green Turtle

What a quaint little old town New Plymouth is! Small bright colored homes, narrow streets with walkers and golfcarts, a few small restaurants and grocery stores. Today I bought 2 tomatoes and a half gallon of skim milk and it was $11, but there is everything here you really might need.

At Pineapples they have really fresh couch salad....diced couch, onions, tomatoes, greenpepper and a secret sauce....very tasty......but not as tasty as Pineapples Goombay Smash....Happy Hour 2for1 can be dangerous!

Mama Mia plays at the golf cart drive-in on Saturday night.......how much fun is this....we didn't have chairs.....

Just another magnificent beach....

We went into town for the Church fish fry....they had fried fish....I do mean the WHOLE fish...and had hot cross buns...for Easter...and we watched the kids play on the basketball court.

I thought my grandaughter Kinsey would love this hair style.....and I wish Turner were here to play basketball with them....he can really shoot the hoops!

The police office and library were closed for the Easter holiday...and as you can see the bank only opens 2 days a week anyway.....

Just a few of the attractions that give you the flavor of the island.. .......What a great place to spend time......slowly.....Everything is slower....and Jerry and I are still trying to slow down.....

Green Turtle

We had a great ride form West End to Green Turtle (100 miles)! Running at 16 knots in 10 feet of crystal clear water is amazing. Green Turtle is beautiful. Here a some pictures of our friends Denny and Chris as we left West End. We can't capture the beautiful clear blue water in the pictures. The other pictures show the sunrise on one side and the moon on the other side this morning.
